Breakfast Club Africa is a Pan African CEO membership organization, formed with a singular purpose of helping leaders of companies to become better leaders, thus benefiting their organizations and employees.

Breakfast Club Africa is registered in the Island of Mauritius as a Global Business License 1 company, and is governed by a Board of Directors that includes shareholder representatives and independent Board Members.
Chairman of the Board
Dr. Stephen Adei holds PhD (Economics, Sydney), MSc (Strathclyde), BSc. (Legon), Bachelor of Divinity (London) and Masters in Theology (UNISA). He is a graduate and Fellow of Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIMG), Chartered Company Secretary (ACIS) and holds a Diploma in Marriage Counselling. He is a Professor of Economics and Leadership. Between January, 2000 and December 2008 he was the Director General and the First Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Under his leadership, between 2000 and 2008 GIMPA was transformed from a small, under-resourced and sub-vented Institute in 1999 to the most successful organization under the Government of Ghana’s Public Sector Reform Programme. Since the end of 2001 GIMPA has been totally self-financing with turnover rising from less than $500,000 to around $15 million. Prior to that he was, among others, Head of UN System in South Africa (September 1994-February 1995), UNDP Resident Representative in Namibia (1995-1999), Economist and Chief of the Directorate of Africa Bureau, UNDP, New York (1989-1995); Senior Economist of the Commonwealth Secretariat, London (1986-1989) and staff of the Ghana Investment Board (now Ghana Investment Promotion Centre), rising to Deputy Director and Head of Research (1973-1985).
He has taught Economics, Leadership, Governance, Management, Public Administration and Personal Organisation at several universities and institutions including University of Ghana, the University of Sydney, GIMPA , Pentecost University College, Accra and since 2013 he has been a Professor of Economics Leadership at Ashesi University College. Prof. Stephen Adei has served on the governing bodies of several national and international organisations including Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Kofi Annan Centre for Excellence in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Chartered Institute of Marketing (Ghana), Global Foundation of Management Education Association of African Public Administrators and Management (AAPAM), Commonwealth Association of Public Administrators and Management (CAPAM), Centre for Policy Analysis (CEPA) Accra, the Ghana Red Cross Society.
He is currently Chairman and/ or member of the boards of several companies and institutions including membership of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Finance of Ghana, Chairman of The Beige Group, Databank Money Fund, and Accra College of Medicine. He is the author, co-author and editor of more than 20 books, 8 book chapters and written more than 100 articles and papers. As a committed Evangelical Christian, Prof. Adei has served many organizations in voluntary capacities as Deacon, Elder, Chairman and Board Member of Churches and not for profit organizations including the Scripture Union. He and his wife Georgina are co-founders of top rated Ghana Christian International High School and Family Life Mission in Ghana. They have four adult children – Stephen, Eunice, Priscilla and Timothy.
Mr. Wilben Short is a Sierra Leonean who has over thirty-years board level experience in the Consulting, Hospitality, Transport and Event Management industries both in Sierra Leone and the United Kingdom. Mr Short is a partner at CTI Consulting, a leadership coaching and executive training company.
Wilben holds a combined honours degree in Physics and Electronic Engineering from Leeds University and an MBA from Cranfield Business School. He is also a certified trainer by the John Maxwell Institute program “Developing The Leader Within You.”
Ms Candice Muller holds a BJuris and LLB degree both from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Ms Muller is a South African attorney admitted to the High Court of South Africa. She is a non-practicing member of the Kwazulu-Natal Law Society. Ms Muller qualified as an attorney in 2007 and began her career in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa where she gained experience in commercial and corporate law, estate planning and commercial drafting. She relocated to Mauritius in 2011 and has since acquired significant expertise as in house legal counsel to a large international management company in the areas of CRS, FATCA, trust law and the drafting of all types of international legal documents.
Mr. R.V.S. (Teddy) Bhullar is a seasoned CEO who has international experience in managing FMCG and Telecommunications companies. He has successfully re-engineered organizations both in India and Africa to unprecedented efficiency and profitability levels.
A staunch believer in the human potential, Teddy also invests a lot of energy coaching and guiding his people. He is presently CEO Emtel, one of the leading telecommunications firm in Mauritius.
Dr. David Musa is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Mission in the School of Intercultural Studies, Fuller Theological Seminary, teaching “The Practices of Mission” (IS 503). David was born and bred in Sierra Leone, West Africa where he served as Regional Secretary of the Scripture Union and General Secretary of the Sierra Leone Fellowship of Evangelical Students (SLEFES) consecutively. He is also Founder and Executive Director of the humanitarian mission organization (The Sierra Leone Agape Voluntary Efforts, SAVE Inc.). Prior to Fuller, David taught for seven years at Carthage College, Kenosha, Wisconsin. David holds numerous academic credentials: B. Sc. Dip. Ed. (Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone), M.A. (Wheaton Graduate School, Wheaton, IL.), M. DIV. (Trinity International University, Deerfield, IL.), and a Ph.D. (Trinity International University, Deerfield, IL.)
Dr. Modupe S. Taylor-Pearce is a Sierra Leonean scholar and practitioner of leadership and organizational management. His passion for leadership development and education was born out of his experiences as an officer serving in combat in the Sierra Leone Civil War. An alumnus of Capella University (PhD), Cornell University (MEng) and the United States Military Academy (Bsc), Modupe currently serves as the Dean of the African Leadership University School of Business and as the Managing Partner of CTI Consulting, a leadership coaching and executive training company.
